CADP exists to advance and develop athletes. The goal is to improve the quality of training and competition among high school players in order to increase the number of Minnesota athletes who are candidates for USA Hockey National Teams and NCAA College Scholarships. Its families and community sponsorships support CADP in an effort to identify athletes with elite potential.

Recent Program Highlights
As of 2016, our athletes have showcased their talents in national and international competition:

  • Eleven current CADP athletes were selected during the 2011 Class AA and A MSHSL All-State and All-State Honorable Mention Teams.
  • Thirty-one CADP athletes participated in the 2011 Class AA and A MSHSL Hockey Tournament.
  • More than 50 CADP athletes have graduated to play DI & DIII college hockey.
  • Eleven IIHF World Championship Gold Medals and Six Silver Medal have been awarded to CADP high school athletes participating on the 18U USA Hockey World Tournament Team.
  • Eight of our former players advanced to the final stage of tryouts for the USA Hockey Women’s Ice Hockey Team that competed in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.

These highlights only scratch the surface of what the members of our program have achieved. Nearly 150 young athletes prepare during the off-season, setting goals of entering their winter seasons in better hockey-specific shape with a stronger understanding of the game and how to train intelligently.
